Changes to Release channels for model-driven apps

Microsoft is changing the release channels for model-driven apps. Previously, feature updates were rolled out in two semi-annual release waves. Now, there is a new monthly channel option that allows users to turn on Generally Available features each month. The monthly channel is recommended for users who want to receive new features on a regular basis, while the semi-annual channel is recommended for users who require more training and testing before rolling out new features. Users can set the release channel for each individual app in the maker portal. Starting with the 2024 release wave 2, all apps configured with Auto will be on the Monthly channel. Users can check their release channel by going into Settings and About in their model-driven app.
