Dynamics 365 Business Central: introducing the Payables Agent.
Microsoft introduces the Payables Agent in Dynamics 365 Business Central version 26.3, an AI tool that automates accounts payables tasks by sourcing vendor invoices from email and SharePoint. The agent creates purchase invoice documents for review, using past data or accounting policies. The public preview is available in the US and UK, with more localizations to come. Users can activate the agent by providing an email account to monitor and test with sample invoices. The agent suggests details for new documents and can be configured to auto-fill additional fields. After setup, the agent processes incoming invoices, requiring user interaction for completion. The agent will have costs per message consumed after the preview phase.
