Power Automate Standards: Variables

This article discusses the use of variables, the Compose action, environment variables, and configuration data in Power Automate flows. Variables should be used to store values that need to be updated at multiple points during the flow run, while constants should not be stored in variables. The Compose action can be used instead of variables inside Apply To Each loops when in Concurrency enabled. Environment variables should be used to store configuration values and avoid hardcoding them into the flow. Configuration data tables should be used instead of environment variables when the value will only be used in a single flow.
