MDA: Open Lookup Record In SidePane
This article explains how to implement opening a lookup in the side pane in Dynamics 365. The author provides a JavaScript code that uses the addOnLookupTagClick, createPane, and navigate functions. The onRegardingObjectIdClick function prevents the default function of opening the record and reuses the pane if already there, or creates the pane if empty.
