Unified Routing – Diagnostics in Azure
The diagnostics option in Unified Routing is being replaced by diagnostics in Azure Application Insights. The existing routing diagnostics are set to be deprecated in October 2024. The new approach focuses on "conversation" diagnostics, providing details about the entire conversation lifecycle. However, currently, the new style diagnostics contain less information on routing events and using Application Insights to query the data can be challenging. Microsoft plans to enhance the data and provide more options to query it. To enable conversation diagnostics, you need to work in a Managed environment. You can view trace tables and query the data in Application Insights. The trace table contains rows for various conversation scenarios, and metadata is available for each scenario.
