Custom Document Validation using AI Builder within Power Pages


Power Pages is a component of Microsoft's Power Platform that allows users to build, manage, and host business websites with minimal coding. It integrates with other Power Platform tools like Power Automate and Power Apps. One scenario is the Employee Portal Document Verification, where the system ensures that employees upload the correct type of document for each category. The validation process checks for adherence to formatting standards and accuracy of essential data. The process involves designing an AI module, integrating it with Power Automate Flow for real-time validation, and implementing the document upload and validation process in Power Pages. Custom code is added to trigger the flow and validate the uploaded documents. The functionality is tested by attaching a sample Passport card, and if the card is valid, a marking icon is displayed; otherwise, the document is removed and an alert is shown. This integration improves the efficiency, accuracy, and security of document verification.
