How to Set up a Dynamics 365 integration with SharePoint

Microsoft Dynamics 365 offers a native SharePoint integration that allows for easy document management and team collaboration. This integration provides more storage space than Dynamics 365 alone and simplifies the process of accessing and organizing documents. To enable the integration, follow these steps: go to Settings, then Advanced Settings, and choose System - Document Management. From there, select Configure Server-Based SharePoint Integration and enter the URL of the SharePoint site you want to use. Finally, select the entities you want to enable for SharePoint folders and define the folder structure. Keep in mind that you may need to address permissions and folder structure issues using third-party tools like CB Dynamics 365 to SharePoint Permissions Replicator and SharePoint Structure Creator. Overall, the Dynamics 365 integration with SharePoint can greatly enhance productivity and accessibility for your business.
