Dynamics 365 Business Central: Power BI and the “You do not have a Power BI account” error.


Power BI embedded is a great feature in Dynamics 365 Business Central that allows users to create reports, scorecards, and dashboards based on Business Central data. However, after upgrading to version 23, some users started receiving an error message stating "You do not have a Power BI account." This error is caused by the obsoleted Power BI Report FactBox page, which is now hidden by default. To solve this issue, you need to reset the Power BI integration for all users by selecting the "Reset all Reports" action in the Power BI part. This will clear the Power BI report setup for all users in the company.
