Using Context Navigation and User Settings in PCF Controls

This post discusses how to use context in PCF Controls. The context allows us to access Power Apps and Dynamics 365 native functionality within a PCF control. The post provides an example of creating a new PCF control called SampleXrmControl and adding code to display a button that calls an onclick function. The onclick function uses the context to open an alert dialog. The post also explores other functionality available with context.navigation, such as opening confirm dialogs, error dialogs, URLs, forms, and web resources. Additionally, the post covers the userSettings context, which includes information about date formatting, time zone offset, language, and more. The post concludes with a call to subscribe to the author's YouTube channel.
