2024 Wave 1 Release Highlights: Dynamics 365 & Power Platform’s exciting features
The 2024 Wave 1 release for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform brings exciting new features and enhancements. Some of the top features include the ability to use managed identities for Dataverse plug-ins, enhance network security with connectors, connect Dataverse plug-ins to endpoint-enabled resources, share system views with security roles, and process app data more efficiently with delegation. Other notable features include the ability to scan files and attachments for viruses and malware, perform website actions using Microsoft Power Platform CLI, and deploy copilots to WhatsApp and Azure Communications Service Chat and SMS channels. In Dynamics 365, new features include boosting sales with product content recommendations, using Copilot to get answers from sales documents, and getting a 360-degree view of accounts with AI-generated account summaries.
