Power Platform Admin Center Notifications and Announcements (Preview)
Managing enterprise applications within Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 can be complex, requiring constant monitoring of storage, licensing, environmental health, and platform updates. A minor issue can disrupt operations, as seen in scenarios where Dataverse storage limits impact workflows and user experience. To address these challenges, Microsoft introduced Notifications and Announcements (Preview) in the Power Platform admin center. This feature allows administrators to proactively manage tenant health, respond to alerts, and stay informed about platform updates. Notifications provide real-time operational alerts, while Announcements inform about product changes, feature releases, and events. Access is restricted to users with specific administrator roles during the preview phase. Notifications and Announcements enhance visibility and streamline management, complementing the Microsoft 365 Message Center by providing real-time tenant-specific operational monitoring. Together, these tools empower administrators to better handle operational issues and prepare for platform changes.
