Viva Sales: Collaboration space
The Viva Sales feature called collaboration spaces allows sales teams to collaborate more efficiently by creating Teams and channels using pre-defined templates. There are two sales templates available: the Account team template and the Deal room template. The former is based on customers/accounts in Dynamics 365 and is applied at the team level, while the latter is applied at the channel level and focuses on opportunity-related activities. Both templates have pre-defined channels and apps already set up, making it easier and faster to create Teams and Team channels while linking them directly to a Dynamics 365 record. This centralized repository of information ensures that team members have easy access to all relevant materials and promotes efficiency, reduces duplication of efforts, and enables better decision-making and coordination within the team.
