Power Platform model-driven app developers can now modify the command bar directly within Power Apps. Previously, developers had to rely on third-party tools like Ribbon Workbench. With the new functionality, developers can select which command bar to edit, change the order of buttons, specify which app the modifications should be included in, and define the actions for custom-built buttons. Only some standard command bar buttons can be modified at the moment, such as Assign, Delete, and Activate. Developers can edit the button's icon, visibility, position, and action. They can also add new buttons as commands, dropdowns, or split buttons. The command bar editor can be accessed by opening the model-driven app in Power Apps and selecting "Edit command bar" from the navigation pane.
