GP Power Tools build 30.2 now includes a feature that checks the installed SQL Server version against the minimum supported version for Microsoft Dynamics GP. If the version does not meet the requirements, a warning will be displayed upon login. This warning has become more common since Microsoft Dynamics GP 18.7 dropped support for SQL Server 2016. The recommended solution is to upgrade the SQL Server version to meet the minimum requirements. However, the warning can be temporarily disabled from the Administrator Settings window. It's important to note that disabling the warning does not fix the issue, it simply hides the fact that the system is running on an unsupported SQL Server version. Upgrading SQL Server can be done using GP Power Tools Database Validation.
