Author a note before saving the form – Timeline (Dynamics 365 / Dataverse)
The Timeline control in Dynamics 365 now allows users to author a note before saving the form. This feature enables users to take notes even before creating or saving the record/form. To enable this feature, select the Timeline control, go to Notes properties, and check the "Enable to author a note before saving the form" option. After saving and publishing the change, users will see the option to create a note enabled on the create form. They can enter details and upload attachments, and when they save the record, the notes will be added to the record. This feature enhances the functionality of the Timeline control in Dynamics 365.
