Access To Manage Consent From Lead And Contact Records


The March 2024 release for Customer Insights - Journeys includes the ability to manage consent from Lead and Contact records. This feature is part of the Wave 1 2024 release plan and allows users to view and manage consent records for commercial and transactional purposes. The new control will show up on the out-of-the-box Contact and Lead forms, displaying information about communication status, tracking status, and consent records. Users will need the appropriate security access to view and interact with the communication control. For custom forms, the Communication tab can be added by including the ContactabilityGrid component. Overall, this feature provides a convenient way to manage consent from Lead and Contact records within Dynamics 365 Marketing.
