Dynamics 365 Business Central: Power Automate Find Records action demistified.
The "Find records" action in Power Automate or Azure Logic Apps workflows for Dynamics 365 Business Central can be confusing. It returns a collection of records that match the applied filters, even if there's only one record. However, there is a limit of 20,000 entities per page for Business Central online, and this cannot be changed. The "Find records" action in Power Automate has a hard limit of 1,000 records, so it is not ideal for retrieving a large number of records. It is recommended to use the "HTTP" action instead, which allows for retrieving all records by using the @odata.nextLink URL in a loop. This is more performant for retrieving a large number of records.
