Do you have applications connecting to an Azure Storage Account? Be sure to use TLS 1.2 or later.

Azure Blob Storage will cease supporting TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 starting February 3, 2026, with TLS 1.2 becoming the mandatory minimum version. This change affects all existing and new blob storage accounts. Users can configure the minimum TLS version in Azure Storage Accounts via the Azure portal. Scripts for identifying and updating storage accounts using older TLS versions are provided. For application compliance, it is stressed that software should be capable of using TLS 1.2, with guidance provided for .NET applications to utilize the operating system's default TLS settings. Upgrade options for older .NET Framework versions are discussed. Applications using .NET Core/.NET 5+ automatically default to OS TLS settings, ensuring compatibility. Additionally, queries for TLS version requests logging in telemetry are suggested. Dynamics 365 Business Central is confirmed compliant with TLS 1.2 requirements.
