Power Platform – Dataverse Low Code Plug-Ins Part 2: Instant Plug-Ins, the line between Child Flows and Actions…and plugin?

In this blog post, the author discusses Instant Plug-Ins in the Power Platform's Dataverse Low Code Plug-Ins. Instant Plug-Ins are a combination of Child Flows and Actions and are referred to as ILCP (Instant Low Code Plugin). The author explains that ILCP uses a Custom API that references Microsoft.PowerFx.PlexPlugin to perform business logic. ILCP does not have a plugin step like Automated Plug-Ins and the Custom API is automatically created and locked to Plugins. The author also mentions that ILCP cannot be configured to run against a custom workflow and suggests converting custom workflows into plugins instead. The post concludes with some limitations of ILCP and a promise of a future blog post on Instant Plug-Ins.
