Advancing automation with new AI capabilities in Power Automate
The Power Automate team has announced new AI capabilities in Power Automate that aim to enhance automation. These features include "Record with Copilot" in Power Automate Desktop, which allows users to create a desktop flow by sharing their screen and describing the task they want to automate. Another feature is the ability to create desktop flows from a description, where users can simply type out what they want to automate. Additionally, generative actions have been introduced, allowing users to add AI-powered steps to their cloud flows. The cloud flows designer has also been enhanced with features like full copy/paste support, a people picker, and a Copilot expression assistant. These new capabilities aim to make automation easier and more efficient.
