Microsoft Power Automate has announced the public preview of Azure Key Vault credentials for desktop flow connections. This new Credential Manager allows users to create and manage credentials with secrets stored in Azure Key Vault, which can be used in desktop flow connections instead of manually entering username and password values. The key features of this new feature include a built-in credential manager for centralized management of credentials, RBAC for sharing credentials without giving access to secrets, ALM compliance for exporting credentials using solutions, and password rotation for updating credentials and connections when Azure Key Vault secrets are updated. Users can get started with credential management by visiting the Power Automate portal and following the steps outlined in the documentation.
