AI adoption – why would anyone think it’s not going to cost us at least some jobs?


The adoption of AI will ultimately lead to job cuts as it increases productivity in areas where it can be adopted. While new jobs may be created or some jobs may not benefit from AI for a while, increased productivity will lead to more production and surplus, resulting in job cuts.
