Enhanced ‘Selected Row’ Trigger Now Available in Power Automate
The 'When a record is selected' trigger in Power Automate has returned with enhancements. This feature allows users to initiate flows directly from the form/home-grid interface on one or multiple selected records. The enhancement now allows users to provide an input parameter, making the outcomes of the flow variable for each run. For example, you can dynamically update a column in the Account table based on specific criteria by including an input of Yes/No type within the trigger. After saving the flow, users can select the Account record and run the flow, which will prompt a pop-up for the user to select the input. This enhancement allows for more customization and flexibility in updating selected records.
