Tip #1458: How to copy files between Dataverse tables
Megan V. Walker asked a question about using Power Automate to move a file from one table to another. It turns out that file name and file content don't work well together, so it requires multiple steps to accomplish. One method involves using three steps with no code, another method involves using two steps with the help of the HTTP with Microsoft Entra ID connector, and the third method involves using a custom action created by Guido Pietre that accomplishes the task in one step. The custom action allows for renaming the file and provides output parameters for success and error details. The source code and managed solution for the custom action are available on GitHub.
