Microsoft has announced the merger of Dynamics 365 Marketing and Customer Insights, resulting in a new application called Dynamics 365 Customer Insights. The new application will be split into two sections: Customer Insights - Journeys and Customer Insights - Data. Existing customers who have already installed the Marketing app with outbound marketing features can continue using those features, but there will be no new enhancements or updates available. Microsoft encourages all customers to transition to real-time marketing and recommends new customers start with real-time marketing. The integration between Customer Insights Data and Customer Insights Journeys will provide a 360-degree understanding of customers and allow for more personalized interactions.
