Tip #18 Unmanaged customizations – Preview that breaks it all in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights-Journeys


Microsoft has released a new preview feature for Power Platform that allows admins to control whether unmanaged customizations are allowed for different environments. However, this feature can break functionality in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, specifically in the Journeys part. Actions such as creating, saving, or publishing emails, journeys, triggers, SMS, and push notifications will prompt an error message due to the creation of unmanaged customizations. Currently, there is no fix for this issue, and the feature should not be enabled for production environments or environments with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights installed. Admins should keep an eye on the documentation for updates on affected functionality and the issue with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Journeys.
