Dynamics 365 Business Central 2025 Wave 1 (v26) release: are you ready for the massive deprecations?
The upcoming release of Dynamics 365 Business Central 2025 Wave 1 (version 26) will include the permanent deletion of tables and fields marked as Obsolete::Removed by Microsoft. Over 150 deprecated tables and 1000 fields will be removed in this release. It is important to check your extensions and prepare for these changes to avoid any last-minute issues. Additionally, starting from version 26, it will no longer be possible to expose a standard Microsoft page as a SOAP endpoint. SOAP integrations will require copying the source code for the page and hosting it in a per-tenant extension. Direct cloud migration and data upgrade from Business Central 2019 (version 14.x) is no longer supported. Upgrade paths are provided depending on your current version.
