Preferred Solution (preview) in Dataverse / Dynamics 365

The preferred solution (preview) feature allows users to specify a solution to which all changes made outside of the unmanaged solution will automatically be added. Users can navigate to Settings >> Features >> Preferred solution (Preview) to enable this feature. Inside the Maker Portal, a new section will appear where users can specify the preferred solution. Any changes made outside of the solution, such as updating forms or adding solution components, will be automatically added to the preferred solution. Other users can also specify their preferred solution. To add cloud flows or canvas apps created outside the solution, users can enable additional features.
