60 Tips in 60 Minutes App
Heidi Neuhauser and Mallory Lawhorne presented their 60 Tips in 60 Minutes session at Community Summit. They created a Canvas Power App that displayed random tips for 45 seconds each. The app was built using PowerPoint to create the tips, which were then exported as JPEG and saved to a SharePoint Document folder. The app connects to this folder as data. The app has three screens: Start Screen, Tip Screen, and End Screen. The Tip Screen is where the magic happens, with components like a timer, start button, hurry up button, and image to display the tip. The app uses Power Automate to retrieve the tip content from the SharePoint documents. The article provides code snippets and instructions for building the app.
