Announcing General Availability of Customer Managed Keys for Power Apps

Microsoft has announced the General Availability of Customer Managed encryption keys (CMK) for Power Apps. CMK provides an additional layer of data protection for cloud assets in regulated industries like Healthcare and Financial Services. With CMK, customers can use their own encryption key from Azure Key vault instead of Microsoft-managed keys to encrypt and secure their Power Apps data. This change is an admin-led action and will be invisible to makers and end-users. Step-by-step instructions on how to apply CMK to environments can be found at aka.ms/PowerAppsCMK.
