Blocking unmanaged customizations in Dataverse
Microsoft has announced the preview of blocking unmanaged customizations in environments. This feature prevents users from making unmanaged changes in test and production environments and restricts the import of unmanaged solutions into production. The feature can be enabled or disabled in the Power Platform Admin center. Once enabled, the following restrictions apply: import of unmanaged solutions is blocked, creation of new solution objects is blocked, and customization of existing solution objects is blocked. Some changes are still allowed, such as updating environment variables and changing ownership of records. The purpose of this feature is to support a healthy ALM and deployment process across environments.
