When importing a patch solution in Dataverse, you may encounter an error stating that the patch with the same version already exists and cannot be updated. This is because Dataverse treats patches as immutable and does not allow updating them with the same version number. To fix this, you can increase the patch version in your source environment, export the patch again, and import it into the target environment. Each patch version is considered unique in Dataverse, so increasing the version allows for re-importing.
