Dataverse Record Ownership Options
The Power Platform is a low-code/no-code solution that includes Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot, and Power Pages. The underlying database structure is called Dataverse, which stores data in tables with columns and rows. There are two types of record ownership in Dataverse: User or Team and Organization. User or Team ownership allows records to be tracked back to specific users or teams, while Organization ownership means that all records in a table are owned by the organization as a whole. Once the ownership type is set for a table, it cannot be changed.
