Dynamics 365 Business Central: why not reviewing the SaaS storage cost policy?
The cost of storage is a major obstacle for Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises customers who want to move to the SaaS platform. Microsoft's current storage policy for Business Central is not aligned with the needs of customers, as the base entitlement of 80 GB is insufficient for many businesses. Additional storage is expensive, with prices ranging from $10 per month for 1 GB to $500 per month for 100 GB. This cost can be prohibitive for companies with large databases, which is a common scenario for Business Central users. Microsoft should review and revise their storage policy to better accommodate the needs of customers and make the transition to the cloud more affordable.
