Managing Entra Agent Identities for Copilot Studio
Governance for Copilot Studio extends beyond the Power Platform Admin Centre and includes managing Entra Agent Identities. An Agent Administrator must utilize the complete toolset, including the Microsoft Entra Admin Centre, to track agent activity and associated Agent IDs. Currently in preview, this feature grants each agent a unique identity in Microsoft Entra, functioning like an ID badge that allows safe communication with Azure Bot Service. This identity model is anticipated to become crucial as more autonomous agents are developed. Meanwhile, for administration purposes, environments can be set up to evaluate these features. To enable this feature, access the Power Platform Admin Centre (PPAC), then navigate to Copilot settings and activate the Entra Agent Identity for Copilot Studio.
