How to remove old Power Automate approval task(s)

Users often face the issue of having too many tasks from expired Power Automate flows. To remove these old tasks, the best option is to delete them completely. Approvals are a separate application and don't care if a flow is running or not. The tasks will stay open until completed, even if the flow has expired. To remove these tasks, filter all tasks older than 30 days that are still active and delete them. It is important to ensure that there are no custom solutions still processing these tasks and to only delete active tasks, not completed ones. Once the tasks are deleted from the Approval table, they will also be removed from the user's Approvals app. Just be cautious not to delete any completed tasks.
