Power Pages site settings can now be configured as environment variables, eliminating the need for deployment profiles. Previously, site settings had to be reconfigured on downstream environments, creating an unmanaged layer. With the new feature, site settings can be stored as environment variables, allowing for unique values for each environment. To configure this, environment variables need to be created and the site settings switched from table to environment variable. The environment variables and website can then be added to a solution and deployed using Power Platform pipelines. This new capability is a game changer for Power Pages ALM and removes the need for deployment profiles.
