Using Power Automate Desktop to do automated testing Power Apps
Power Automate Desktop can be used for automated testing of Power Apps. While Power Apps studio includes test tools, they are not available when using co-authoring. Power Automate Desktop can help with automated testing by rerunning the same tests over and over again. It can be used for regression testing, testing new functionality, development testing, and testing newly deployed releases. Power Automate Desktop can handle the challenges of automating testing in Power Apps, such as accessing elements in the browser and dealing with iframes. It allows users to add comments in the desktop flow, launch a new browser, handle the loading of the app, press the play button, and test text input controls.
