How to do Cumulative Sums in Power BI (the easy way)

This video tutorial shows the easiest way to create cumulative or running totals in Power BI. It demonstrates how to compare estimated versus actual hours in project management, but the technique can be applied to other scenarios like burnup or burndown charts, Planned Value (PV), Earned Value (EV), Actual Cost (AC), cumulative revenue and expense, sales, and web traffic. The video covers creating running totals in visual calculations, modifying to get "cost," adding a constant line for project end date, and adjusting the line behavior. Additional resources on creating the dataset and using date tables are also provided.
