Performance and Storage Improvements Coming to Financial Dimensions
A new feature is being introduced to improve performance and reduce storage costs when working with financial dimensions. The changes will be rolled out in application release 10.0.38, with further improvements in release 10.0.42. The feature involves adding three new fields to the Dimension code combination table and removing 22 fields and related indexes. Enabling the feature will allow the environment to use only the newly added fields. If you want to test the removal of the 22 fields and indexes, you can contact technical support for more information. The benefit of this feature is improved query and insert performance, as well as reduced storage costs. After enabling the feature, it is recommended to verify customizations and key business scenarios.
