Default Environment – How to handle?

The default Power Platform environment in Azure tenants is problematic due to its lack of support and inability to be restored over itself. However, it is the first place new users land and start building applications. To enable users while maintaining governance, the default environment can be managed, and users can be routed to appropriate business unit sandboxes. A new capability called Just-In-Time Environment Creation is also coming soon, which will automatically create a new environment for users who do not already have one. Organizations must be willing to change the default environment to become a managed environment, and risk assessments must be carried out. Other concepts to keep in mind include Landing Zones and Policies.
