2024 Release Wave 1 (#23)
Join us as we discuss the highlights of the 2024 Release Wave 1 for Power Platform. This episode was prerecorded based on the pre-released release notes, so changes may have been made since then. Some of the highlights include modernizing the maker experience security settings in Power Apps, allowing makers to share tables and apps easily, and introducing Copilot for visualizing and working with complex data relationships. Power Pages will have enhancements for performing website actions and file uploads. Power Automate will offer intelligent license recommendations and the ability to ingest process data from customers' data lakes. Microsoft Copilot Studio will allow importing and exporting topics, using interactive voice response with Omnichannel for Customer Service, and expanding availability to more regions. AI Builder will introduce pay-as-you-go pricing, a new AI capacity management experience, and the ability to author power cards with GPT prompts. Microsoft Dataverse will have improvements in processing efficiency, associating activities with multiple related records, and scanning files for viruses and malware. Lastly, there are several upcoming events related to Power Platform.
